Brief Intro

After living in Illinois for the first year of her life, Dr. Nwanyieze Amajoh moved with her family to Africa, where she spent her childhood. She later returned to the United States to attend college at the University Of Miami, Florida where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Amajoh went on to receive her Medical Degree at Wright State University, Ohio in 2005. She did her specialty training in Ob/Gyn at the University of Texas, Houston, Hermann Hospital where she also served on the residency selection committee, helping the program select future candidates. Dr. Amajoh has intensive training in high risk obstetrics and the laparoscopic surgical procedure. Dr. Amajoh has had the pleasure of volunteering for medical missions in Nigeria where she provides obstetrical and gynecological care to the underserved. She enjoys establishing and building lifelong relationships with her patients and their families. Her interests outside of medicine include dancing and reading novels. Dr. Amajoh is a member of Harris County Medical Society.
