Norman Broudy, M.D., is the founder and medical director of the Herman Rosenblum, M.D., Child & Adolescent Center. The center, which opened in 1985, is Delaware’s first psychiatric day treatment program for 12- to 18-year-olds.
Dr. Broudy graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1973. His residency in general psychiatry was at the University of Chicago in 1976. He completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania’s Philadelphia Child Guidance Center and at Hahnemann University Hospital in 1978.
After completing his fellowship, Dr. Broudy served as the medical director of the Delaware Child Guidance Clinic until 1981, when he started a private practice. He joined Christiana Care around 1982.
Dr. Broudy’s private practice, Norman Broudy, M.D., & Associates, is a multidisciplinary group practice that provides comprehensive outpatient therapy and medication management for children, adolescents, adults and families.
He is a board-certified psychiatrist as well as a member of the American Psychiatric Association and American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
