Dr. Rodrigo was born and raised in the beautiful island nation of Sri Lanka.
She received her medical degree from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences in Bangalore, India. After completing her medical studies, she moved to the United States. In 2011, she completed her residency training in OB-GYN at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, New York. During this time she also expanded her family and had her two amazing children!
Soon after graduation Dr. Rodrigo joined the North American Menopause Society to help patients who suffer from the negative aspects of menopause. Throughout her career, even while being a private practice GYN physician, Dr. Rodrigo continued to help patients overcome menopausal symptoms through hormone therapy.
Because of her keen interest in hormone therapy and her belief in preventative care rather than “sick care,” Dr. Rodrigo pursued further training in hormone replacement therapy. Consequently, she has undergone extensive training in Bio-identical hormone replacement therapy at the Academy of Preventative and Innovative Medicine.
In addition to hormone replacement therapy, Dr. Rodrigo has gained several training hours in aesthetic medicine and IV vitamin therapy. She completed her training in aesthetic medicine at the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine.
