Dr. Kirshner is a native of Nashvile who finished his undergraduate degree at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN and his medical degree at East TN State University. He then moved to Houston, TX where he completed his pediatric residency training at Baylor College of Medicine. He subsequently practiced in Houston for the following seven years before moving back home to Tennessee. Dr. Kirshner is board certified in pediatrics. He and his wife Susan have a daughter named Leah. His hobbies include photography and computers as well as playing ice hockey and tennis.
