Brief Intro

Nathan Makay, D.D.S. Dr. Makay was born and raised in a small farming community in Southwest Michigan. It was here that he attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College where he also played basketball. He was then accepted to Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology. Dr. Makay then went to the University of Michigan Dental School in Ann Arbor, Michigan where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in May of 2000. Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Makay attended a General Practice Residency at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vermont. In 2003, Dr. Makay joined Essex Family Dental. Dr. Makay resides in Hinesburg with his wife and two daughters.Â He really enjoys spending time with his family, and remaining active with activities such as skiing, golfing, hiking, hunting, gardening and wood working.
