Medical Director of the CHOC Gastroenterology & Nutrition Program, as well as PSF Chief of Gastroenterology & Nutrition, Mitchell Katz, M.D. provides care for the full spectrum of pediatric disorders, specializing in pediatric intestinal and liver diseases. Dr. Katz is board certified in both pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology. He completed a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition at the University of California San Francisco. In addition, Dr. Katz served a fellowship in ambulatory pediatrics as well as his residency and internship at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City. He received his medical training from State University of New York at Downstate Medical School, Brooklyn, New York.
