Mike Fruscione, M.D., MBA is a board certified organ transplant surgeon who has recently joined the Hackensack Meridian Medical Group transplant surgery team at Hackensack University Medical Center. Dr. Fruscione provides high-quality, evidence-based care to his patients, and is well-trained in abdominal transplant and general surgery. Through transplantation, Dr Fruscione aims to restore function, improve quality of life and return his patients back to enjoying the activities they love.
Prior to joining Hackensack Meridian Health, Dr. Fruscione completed an abdominal organ transplant fellowship at The Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School and general surgery residency at Carolinas Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Fruscione has contributed several peer-reviewed publications in the fields of abdominal transplant and hepatobiliary surgery. He is an active member of the American College of Surgeons, American Society of Transplant Surgeons, and American Medical Association.
