Dr. Wallace attended medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he graduated in the top 25 percentile of his class. Following medical school, Dr. Wallace completed his ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Virginia within Virginia Commonwealth University. He also completed a cornea fellowship at the University of Tennessee Hamilton Eye Institute.He is originally from Boaz, Alabama. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, exercising, playing golf, college football, raising cattle, studying history and lecturing.
