Michael J. Thielman, MD, is board certified in otolaryngology, head, and neck surgery, and practices a full range of ear, nose and throat services, including placing ear tubes, performing tonsillectomy surgery, correcting nasal breathing problems and performing advanced skin cancer removal and reconstruction. He also treats patients with allergic diseases and issues with a broad spectrum of approaches, including immunotherapy, medical and surgical treatments for nasal polyps and chronic sinusitis. Dr. Thielman completed his medical degree at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, and his residency at University Hospital and Clinics in Madison. He is the chief of surgery at Ministry Saint Michael's Hospital and the medical director for otolaryngology, general surgery, dermatology, audiology and wound care at Ministry Medical Group in Stevens Point. He is a Stevens Society Member of the United Way in Stevens Point, coaches youth football, basketball and soccer for the YMCA, and enjoys snow skiing, golf and tennis.
