Michael Bornstein, M.D. joined Kern Radiology Medical Group in 1991. Dr. Bornstein received his Bachelors of Science degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1966. He also attended the University of California Berkeley, receiving an M.S. for Nuclear Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He continued his studies at Berkeley to earn his Ph. D. in Nuclear Engineering in 1971. He received his Medical Doctorate from the University of California, San Diego in 1982. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at the Mayo Clinic in 1986. Certified by the American Board of Radiology in 1986, Dr. Bornstein specializes in diagnostic and interventional radiology.
