Michael E. Muncy, D.O., is an American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon. He is a graduate of the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Forth Worth, Texas, where he also completed his residency in Orthopedics. Dr Muncy has been a practicing orthopaedic surgeon in the Dallas / Forth Worth Metroplex since 1995.
Dr Muncy has a very non-pretentious, down to earth relationship with his patients, involving them in every aspect of their care.

Dr. Muncy has a special interest in total joint replacement including training in the direct anterior approach to total hip replacement. In addition, Dr. Muncy also performs minimally invasive resurfacing techniques of the knee, shoulder, and great toe.
