History Established in 1990 His extensive training includes graduating Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University in 1978 and completing his Medical Degree from Harvard Medical School in 1982. He performed his general surgery training at the University of San Diego Medical Center from 1983 - 1986, and plastic surgery training at St Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco from 1986-1989. He continued his studies in reconstructive microsurgery and plastic surgery as part of a fellowship with the Royal Melbourne Hospital in Melbourne, Australia from 1989 - 1990.
