Dr. Taylor was born and raised in Hickory, NC. She earned her B.S. with honors from Duke and her M.D. with honors from the University of North Carolina. She completed her pediatric residency training at UNC as well. She enjoys travel and basketball, especially the ACC variety. She's an avid Duke fan! She has one son, Nicholas, who was born January 21, 2000. She is an active member of First United Methodist Church in Cary, where she enjoys playing in the bell choir.
