Dr. Hutton MD attended Case Western Reserve University for his undergraduate studies. He continued his education at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine to complete is Doctor of Medicine. Post graduate, Dr. Hutton completed a dual track certificate program in management and medicine. He graduated Magna CumLaude with Honors from Case Western University and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Hutton then completed his residency in General Surgery at the University Hospitals of Cleveland and continued with a fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
He is currently Board Certified as a Diplomat of the American Board of Surgery and a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners.
In his past medical experience, Dr. Hutton held many outstanding positions with Allegiance Health Systems as the Director of Vascular Surgery, the Director of the Center for Vascular Health, and the Medical Director of Vascular Laboratories. He was the Attending Vascular Surgeon at the University Hospitals of Cleveland in OH. He currently holds the title of Associate Director and Executive Committee for the Michigan Surgical Quality Collaborative.
Dr. Hutton has been involved in the development of techniques as well as the technology used for the endovascular treatment of vein diseases since 2001. He has taught many courses and seminars on these techniques to physicians throughout the United States and Asia. This, in addition to practicing at the Metro Vein Centers Canton office, he continues his work on Research and Development of new venous technology in Shanghai, China.
