Dr. Lonberg is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology. He earned his medical doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Medicine where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his Internship and Residency in Medicine at New York University Hospital Medical Center at Bellevue Hospital in New York. He also completed a Fellowship in Oncology Research at NYU and a Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, where he received awards from the Charles H. Revson Foundation Fellowship in Biomedical Research and the American Cancer Society. He has published many scientific articles on various topics in oncology and hematology.
