I have been with the Southern California Permanente Medical Group for 25 years and have served in many capacities. Prior to my current role in the national office, I have been chief of pediatrics and area medical director. First and foremost, I have been a pediatric gastroenterologist and have cared for many children with digestive diseases throughout the region. I engage in daily exercise and believe in a combination of aerobic training, resistance training, and stretching. A healthy diet is extremely important to me and should be to my patients especially. My diet is low in fat, low in simple sugars, and high in fiber.
