I pride myself in providing state-of-the-art care in gastroenterology and in taking as much time as needed to explain everything to my patients. In return, I would like patients to work with me to find the best solutions for their symptoms and problems. Gastroenterology is an exciting field that deals with a lot of different conditions and diseases, including common problems like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and acid reflux, to very serious illnesses like inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and cancers. With new treatments and endoscopic procedures, we can make a real difference treating and managing complex problems. The services I offer include colonoscopies and upper endoscopies, as well as endoscopic ultrasound. Ultrasound is an effective tool for staging many GI cancers, diagnosing pancreas problems such as cysts and tumors, and performing biopsies of the lymph nodes near the GI tract. I also perform radiofrequency ablation of Barrett’s esophagus, which removes precancerous cells in patients with acid reflux.
