Dr. Holmes earned his bachelors from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York and his medical degree from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario. He interned at the Albany Medical Center in Albany, N.Y. and Queens University, where he completed a teaching fellowship in the anatomy department. He also completed a family practice residency at Kingston General Hospital and Hotel Dieu Hospital, both in Kingston, Ontario. Dr. Holmes joined Oaklawns active staff in February 2002.
