Dr. Bladergroen, cardiac surgeon and vice president for medical affairs, is a cardiothoracic surgeon and cardiothoracic section chief at Bon Secours St. Mary's Hospital. Dr. Bladergroen specializes in minimally invasive valve repair and replacement, as well as aortic aneurysm endograft surgery and off-pump (beating heart) bypass surgery. He performed the first thoracic endograft in central Virginia.
