Dr. Farmer attended Washington and Lee University for his undergraduate degree and the University of Virginia School of Law for his Juris Doctor degree. He received his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and completed his internal medicine residency from the University of Virginia Health System. , Dr. Farmer completed a hematology and medical oncology fellowship from Virginia Commonwealth University, Medical College of Virginia Health System. Dr. Farmer is board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology.
