Dr. Wilkerson is a strong believer in patient education. He feels this enables his patients to become actual participants in their own health care; furthermore, he feels that patients should be aware of how eye conditions can impact their fitness as a whole. Dr. Wilkerson received his medical degree from southwestern Medical School in Dallas and completed his Ophthalmology Residency at Scott & White Hospital in Temple followed by a fellowship in Glaucoma at Duke University.
