Dr. Mark Bouffard IV is fellowship trained and board certified in both Pain Management and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He completed his residency at the University of Texas/Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He then went on to do his fellowship training to sub-specialize in Pain Management at UC Davis in Sacramento. Dr. Bouffard is able to diagnose different causes of pain from all types of musculoskeletal injury and disease utilizing a variety of diagnostic techniques then working with the patient, he can prescribe the most appropriate plan. He specializes in minimally invasive treatment modalities for acute and chronic pain whether it is spinal pain from stenosis or arthritis, muscular pain or cancer. His approach to pain management is to help alleviate pain with interventional and non-interventional techniques to improve the lives of those in pain.
