Dr. Benak specializes in a wide range of surgical procedures including the latest minimally invasive techniques. He is interested in the evaluation and treatment of gastrointestinal, endocrine, vascular, breast, and skin disorders. Dr. Benak opened his surgical practice in Walton County in 2000. Dedicated to his profession, Dr. Benak has served as Chief of Staff, Chief of Surgery, Trauma Medical Director, and member of the Medical Executive Committee. Dr Benak is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Benak is married and lives with his wife in Good Hope, GA. In his spare time, he enjoys paddle boarding, wake surfing, hiking, biking, camping, and boating.
