Dr. Walker has been practicing medicine for 30 years, She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and has a special interest in primary care and weight management. She has been in solo private practice in Decatur and the Piedmont Minor Emergency Clinic for more than 20 years. Dr. Walker has a special interest in weight management. She has made numerous presentations to community groups and civic organizations, as well as through print and digital media outlets, concerning the epidemic of obesity and its relationship to morbidity and mortality.
