Mari A. Fahrner, M.D. is originally from Atlanta, Georgia. She attended Auburn University for her undergraduate degree. She then attended the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama. After medical school she came to St. Louis and did her internship and residency in surgery at Barnes Hospital, Washington University School of Medicine. She is board certified in Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. She has a special interest in breast diseases. She started in private practice at St. Lukes Hospital in 1992.
