Brief Intro

Dr. Malathi Kolipaka is a Physician in our Cumming Office who joined our practice in March 2013. Her pursuit of a career in medicine started after she graduated with top honors in a small rural town in Southern India. She went on to graduate from Bangalore Medical University and soon joined a multispeciality clinic where she worked as General practitioner and provided care to the impoverished population. She then moved to the USA along with her husband Dr. Pendem in 2002. She initially volunteered as clinical extern at St. Vincent's Medical Center, NY and later as a research volunteer at genetics laboratory Montefiore Medical Center , NY. She then followed her husband to Bismarck, North Dakota. Fortunately she was accepted into the University of North Dakota Family Medicine Program where she completed her Internship. Later she accepted an opportunity at St. Elizabeth Health Care, North Kentucky, Family Medicine and graduated in 2012.
