Lloyd Y. Tani, MD received both his undergraduate education and his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. He received his pediatric and pediatric cardiology training from the Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital. He is a Professor of Pediatrics and has been a member of the faculty of the University Of Utah School Of Medicine for over 21 years. He currently serves as the Chief of the Division of Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Utah and Primary Children’s Medical Center.
Dr. Tani’s clinical interests include general pediatric cardiology, rheumatic fever and heart disease, pediatric valvular disease, and echocardiography.
Dr. Tani’s research interests include rheumatic fever and heart disease, quality improvement and outcome, and pediatric echocardiography.
