Dr. Lewis W. Harris is a board certified neurological surgeon and the only fellowship trained pediatric neurosurgeon in East Tennessee. He has been with Neurosurgical Associates for over thirteen years. Currently, Dr. Harris is associated with East Tennessee Children's Hospital, University of Tennessee Medical Center and Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. Dr. Harris earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He completed his residency and fellowship at the Washington University Medical Center and another fellowship at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. Dr. Harris' writing has been published in books, journals and abstract pieces. He is also a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgery and the International Society for Pediatric Neurosurgery. Dr. Harris is an accomplished and experienced neurosurgeon that Neurosurgical Associates is proud to have as a member of our staff.
