Dr. Lawrence Shall is originally from Ohio and is a proud alumnus of Ohio State University. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio at Toledo. Over thirty years ago, he moved to Virginia Beach. Since he arrived in Hampton Roads, he has had the honor to work for several years as a physician for Norfolk State University and Norfolk City School schools.
Over the last 30 years, there have been significant changes in Orthopedics. However, the largest and most important reason I entered medicine has not changed - my continued desire to provide my patients with the best treatment and outcomes. Opening Shall Ortho has allowed me to return to what I most enjoy—providing quality care, time, and specialized therapies for my patients.
As an orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist, my practice focuses on managing acute and chronic injuries, with a strong emphasis on the knee, shoulder, and elbow. My philosophy is to provide patients with superior quality care through compassion, honesty, and specialized treatment to fit each patient's unique needs. I believe in putting the patient's needs first and am committed to working with each patient to develop the best care plan.
