Lawrence J. Sindel, MD received his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Tulane University and attended medical school at Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He completed his pediatric internship at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, his pediatric residency at Louisiana State University School of Medicine and his allergy and immunology fellowship at Duke University School of Medicine. Dr. Sindel is board certified in pediatrics, allergy and immunology, and pediatric pulmonology. He is currently the Director of the Cystic Fibrosis Care Center in Mobile and is a clinical professor with the Department of Pediatrics at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. He is a member of the Medical Society of Mobile County, the Southeastern Allergy Association, the Medical Association of the State of Alabama, the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Allergy and Immunology, the Alabama Society of Allergy and Immunology, and the Mobile Pediatrics Society. He joined Pulmonary Associates in 1991, and is presently the principal investigator for several clinical studies.
