Brief Intro

Dr. Diem began work with the Chaparral Medical Group in June 2005.She completed her internship/ residency in Pediatrics at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital. Dr. Diem remained at Loma Linda as Chief Resident and Attending in the Faculty Medical Office and affiliated clinics. Her past experience also includes work in private practice in the High Desert Area. Along with with newborn pediatiric care, Dr. Diem also holds a strong interest in adolescent medicine and asthma care. Her practice ranges from newborns to 18 year olds. She is trained in newborn circumcision and preventative adolescent gynecological care. Dr. Diem is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and co-author of research studies involving Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) in hospitalized children published in Pediatrics, 2002. Dr. Diem received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a minor in Biochemistry. She received her medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA in 1999.
