I was born and raised in Southern California, but have lived in Western Washington since 1992. I am happily married to my wife, an RN, and we have four children, a golden retriever, and two cats. As a young child, it was the technology and fast-pace of health care that excited me. In college, it was the challenge. As an adult, without question the most attractive parts of the job are the healing and caregiving aspects of the work. I am a member of both the Physician Wellness Committee and Graduate Medical Education Committee at Harrison Medical Center. I also perform yearly camp physicals for local Boy Scouts of America troops.
