Brief Intro

Dr. Kocharla witnessed firsthand family members struggle with rheumatological disorders and knew that she wanted to work in a field that would help make a difference. From an early age, Dr. Kocharla’s mother encouraged her to continue learning and to pursue her passions. She is passionate about seeing her patients grow and helping them find the best management option. Dr. Kocharla has special interests in rheumatoid arthritis and lupus. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking new recipes and traveling.My passion in Rheumatology began when I witnessed firsthand suffering associated with rheumatoid arthritis in my family member. Over the years, remarkable advances have happened in diagnosis and management of autoimmune rheumatological disorders within the field of Rheumatology. It is extremely gratifying to see the results of a well diagnosed and managed patient. It’s also gratifying to see the change in their life brought upon by proper care. It is my passion to help the patient lead the best life possible while navigating this difficult disorder. I am thankful to help them on their journey and make a difference.
