Kurt Jacobson earned his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine and completed an orthopaedic residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center and a sports medicine fellowship at Hughston Foundation.
Dr. Jacobson is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and holds memberships in numerous professional medical societies.
In addition to general orthopaedics, Dr. Jacobson specializes in sports medicine and knee and ankle injuries. He serves as the head team physician for the Valdosta State University sports program and is involved in the athletic training and education program at Valdosta State University where he was recently inducted into the Valdosta State University Athletic Hall of Fame. He is also the head team physician for Andrew College.
