Dr. KUMAR RAVI MD is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology. After receiving his medical degree from Bangalore University in India he completed his residency in internal medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Michigan and followed with his fellowship in cardiology and interventional cardiology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. Before starting his practice in 2004, Dr. Ravi was teaching cardiology and interventional cardiology at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. As the assistant director of research Dr. Ravi conducted several clinical trials in cardiology and interventional cardiology.Dr. Ravi gained knowledge and experience in dealing with the most complex cardiovascular conditions including, heart valve diseases, coronary artery disease (CAD), atrial fibrillation (A-FIB) and other arrythmias, congestive heart failure (CHF), angina and peripheral artery disease (PAD). His practice at Arizona Heart Specialists offers a full range of consultative services in non-invasive, invasive and interventional cardiology.
