Dr. Kevin Sheahan received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Medical College of Georgia. He then completed his internship and residency at the University of South Florida Medical Center in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Sheahan's pain management training was completed at Emory. Dr. Sheahan has been practicing interventional pain management and minimally invasive spine care since 1993. He serves as a managing partner of Southeastern Interventional Pain Associates. Dr. Sheahan's areas of interest are Interventional Pain Management Procedures, Diagnostic Discography, Spinal Cord Stimulator Implant and Intrathecal Infusion Pumps. Dr. Sheahan has completed extensive work in the areas of Spinal Cord and Peripheral Nerve Stimulation, Intrathecal Pump Implantation, Discography and various approaches to Radiofrequency Ablation, and numerous nerve blocks and spinal injections. Dr. Sheahan is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pain Management, and a Diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is a member of the International Spine Intervention Society, American Pain Society, American Society of Addiction Medicine and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. Dr. Sheahan resides in Newnan with his wife, Kristy. They have two daughters and two sons.
