Dr. Kushner received his MD degree from New York Medical College and completed his internship at Los Angeles County-University of Southern California Medical Center in surgery. He did his fellowship at Los Angeles County University of Southern California Medical Center in surgery and at the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Kushner was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society at New York Medical College. He also speaks Spanish, has certification from the American Board of Surgery and is an instructor in advanced trauma life support.
