Dr. Svensson is a family practitioner who has been serving patients of all ages in Rockland County since 1988. He is certified by the American Board of Family Practice. He earned his medical doctorate from the Universidad Central Del Este in the Dominican Republic. He completed his Family Practice Residency at UMDNJ /St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Paterson, NJ. He completed his Surgical Residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Svensson is a preceptor at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also works with Pace University and Dominican College of Blauvelt in training nurse practitioners. Dr. Svensson is fluent in Spanish and has a special interest in nutrition and preventative medicine.
