Kathryn Arendt, MD, received her medical degree, cum laude, from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of New Mexico then completed a two year fellowship in pelvic reconstructive surgery at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle. Dr. Arendt is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1998. She is a member of the American Urogynecology Society and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Arendt has been a leader at Evergreen Hospital in promoting a multidisciplinary approach to treatment of women with pelvic floor disorders. She has fostered collaboration among specialists and improved learning by starting a multidisciplinary conference to discuss pelvic floor disorders at Evergreen Hospital Medical Center. She is also a frequent speaker, teaching health care providers and the public about pelvic floor disorders and available treatment options.
