Dr. Yost received her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School (Inteflex Program) in Ann Arbor. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Blodgett Memorial Medical Center and St. Mary’s Mercy Medical Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. A primary care faculty development fellowship was completed at Michigan State University, East Lansing, and a Medical Oncology fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Yost is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. Memberships include the Michigan Society of Hematology/Oncology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Medical Association, the Michigan State Medical Society and the Kent County Medical Society. She is principal investigator of the Grand Rapids Clinical Oncology Program and chairs the Cancer Advisory Committee for the Spectrum Institutional Review Board. Dr. Yost has been in private practice since 1989 and joined Cancer & Hematology Centers of Western Michigan in 2003.
