Dr. Karen Rouw is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She attended podiatry school at the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine at Temple University and graduated with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 1990. Dr. Karen Rouw then completed a surgical residency at the Philadelphia Osteopathic Medical Center. Dr. Karen Rouw practiced for 16 years in Fergus Falls, Minnesota before moving to Saint Cloud in 2008.Dr. Karen Rouw is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine as well as by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Dr. Rouw is a member of the Minnesota and American Podiatric Medical Associations and a Fellow of the American College of Podiatric Orthopedics and Medicine.Dr. Karen Rouw believes in spending the time needed with her patients to fully evaluate their concerns and determine the best plan of treatment for each patient. She provides specialized care for people with foot and ankle disorders with special interests in foot surgery, diabetic wound care, diabetic and arthritis footwear, orthotics, sports medicine, pediatric foot disorders and nail disorders.Dr. Rouw lives in St. Cloud and enjoys spending time with her two grown sons and husband. She enjoys traveling, taking long walks with her dog and studying world languages.
