Qualities of caring and helping were instilled in me by my parents who always had open arms for those in need. Working for more than 15 years in gastroenterology, a challenging and diverse specialty, has given me the opportunity to put my parents teaching into practice. Overall, this journey into medical practice has been a rewarding and enriching experience for me. In my daily work, patients come first. Listening to them with honesty, compassion, respect and understanding is always important.
