Dr. Fried received his medical degree from Texas A&M Health Science Center where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He completed additional training in Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Fried’s has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed manuscripts, reviews, abstracts, and book chapters. His work has been published in prestigious peer-reviewed journals including Circulation, Journal of American College of Cardiology Heart Failure, Circulation - Heart Failure, and The Journal of Heart and Lung Transplantation.
