Dr. Mills was born in Athens Georgia and raised in Alexandria Virginia. Dr. Mills attended Mary Washington College as an undergraduate and after graduation completed her medical training at the Medical College of Virginia / Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Mills also completed her Pediatric Internship and Residency at the Medical College of Virginia. She joined Dr. Abernathy at the same time Dr. Blakey joined and together they formed what is now known as Pediatric & Adolescent Health Partners. Dr. Mills has two children. Her hobbies include running, golf, and horseback riding. She is an accomplished participant in Tae Kwan Do and has earned her Brown Belt. Her special interests include Sports Medicine and Obesity treatment and prevention in children.
