Dr. Joshua D. Adams is a Vascular Surgeon and Vascular Interventional Radiologist. He joined Carilion Clinic in March 2017 as Medical Director for the Carilion Clinic Aortic Center. With 10 years of training at the University of Virginia Health System, he specializes in complex aortic disease treatment using advanced endovascular techniques. Dr. Adams has performed over 100 Complex Fenestrated/Branched Endovascular Aortic Repairs. He started the MUSC Health Complex Endovascular Aortic Program, completing over 60 Branched/Fenestrated repairs. Dr. Adams has a keen interest in vascular simulation and has been involved in over 12 clinical trials. In his free time, he enjoys running, basketball, fishing, and family time.
