I feel it is very important that the breast surgeon takes control of the patient's care. I feel it is very important that I personally explain the surgical options, the surgical procedures and the potential additional treatments that may be recommended to the patient. The care of patients with breast disease, particularly those diagnosed with breast cancer, requires patience and empathy which is what I expect of both myself and my office staff which I believe we deliver on a daily basis.
