The Orthopaedic Associates of Reading would like to introduce
Dr. Joseph M. Scornavacchi.
Dr. Scornavacchi is a graduate of Harvard College and completed
medical school at Temple University. He was a surgical intern at
Geisinger Medical Center and completed his Orthopaedic residency at
Temple University Hospital and the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled
Children in Philadelphia. His fellowship training was in Adult
Reconstructive Surgery at New England Baptist Hospital, Boston,
Massachusetts. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of
Orthopaedic Surgery Temple University Hospital, and a Consultant to
the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children.
With a fellowship in joint replacement, Dr. Scornavacchi provides
the latest technology for hip and knee replacement surgeries.
This includes partial replacements, minimally invasive techniques,
alternate bearings including ceramic, metal on metal and specific
designs for women.
