Jon D. Kaiser, MD, graduated from the State University of New York with a dual degree in Philosophy and Biochemistry and attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. During his medical school training, he received honors in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine. Perceiving limitations of a purely mechanistic approach to the treatment of disease, Dr. Kaiser began to explore the fields of nutrition, natural therapies, and emotional healing techniques. In the 1980’s, Dr. Kaiser trained in internal medicine at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in San Francisco and began treating patients with HIV/AIDS. Several years later he opened his private practice, which quickly grew to capacity due to his unique and comprehensive approach to HIV treatment. Jon D. Kaiser, M.D. has been treating people with chronic medical conditions for over thirty years with a combination of natural and standard medical therapies. By combining the use of natural medicine (diet, supplements, herbs, exercise, & mind-body techniques) with standard medical therapies, Dr. Kaiser has been able to help the majority of his patients restore themselves back to health. Dr. Kaiser also specializes in the treatment of fatigue and has published several research studies on the link between mitochondrial dysfunction and chronic fatigue syndrome. He is on the faculty of the University of California Medical School in San Francisco and is the author of several books on healing from chronic medical conditions.
