John S. Pixley, M.D., is the J.T. and Margaret Talkington Endowed Chair, Professor and Chief Rheumatology/Immunology Division in the Department of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at TTUHSC. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology and practices at Texas Tech Physicians outpatient facility and is affiliated with University Medical Center for inpatient care. He completed medical school at New York Medical College, internship and residency at Westchester County Medical Center, and fellowship at SUNY-at-Stony Brook. He consults on patients of all ages with rheumatic disease. His research interests include clinical observations on autoimmune disease, immune tolerance, and stem cell biology.
