Dr. John Verdini received his B.S. in biology from Northeastern University and his M.S. in animal science-genetics at the University of Massachusetts. After several years as a biochemist for the University of Massachusetts Medical Center he went to Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri. He graduated in 1988, followed by an internship and residency at Albany Medical Center Hospital.
Dr. Verdini has been in private practice with Capital Neurological Associates since July 1992. He is board certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and holds membership in the American Academy of Neurology, Medical Society of the State of New York, and the Medical Society of the County of Albany. In addition he serves on the Samaritan Hospital Critical Care Committee, St. Mary's Hospital Medical Executive Committee, Chairman of St. Mary's Hospital Medicine Quality Improvement Committee, and is the acting Chairperson for the Department of Medicine at St. Mary's Hospital.
